Being read a book by a member of Kara? Having your outfit coordinated by the Wonder Girls? This is like a fan's dream come true. But this is a reality on the new real-time broadcasting Naver 'V' app.
On August 17th, 10:30pm, Kara was online in a live-stream via the 'V' app. Previously, members of Kara had given fans a tour of the backstage and concert stage areas for their '2015 Summer Sonic' performance and now, they broadcast a 'Book Reading Time' concept where they read their favorite books to their fans through the mobile app. Member Young-ji read a short horror story to the fans, hoping to help them break a sweat and fight off the summer heat.
In addition, the Wonder Girls Yoobin and Sunmi revealed their makeup 'know-how' and fashion tips. Their live-stream piggy-backed off of Kara's live-stream and focused on beauty and fashion. Previously Yoobin and Sunmi had shared about how to get a great tan, based off of their experience in Saipan for a fashion spread.
On one hand, fans in Korea are enjoying watching their favorite stars share their personal interests, such as in reading books with Kara, or getting beauty tips from the Wonder Girls, but through the platform of the 'V' app, people from all over the world, are able to watch and enjoy this unique content as well.
